PREVAIL OVER PICKPOCKETS WITH MUAY THAI
Muggers. If you are one to travel a lot, you will most likely encounter a mugger or a pickpocket who’s trying to pick on the foreign tourists.
What should you do when that happens? What’s the answer to this conundrum? Muay Thai.
The first line of defense in any fight — whether a street fight, professional fight or self-defense scenario — is awareness. If you can anticipate the problem and evade it completely, then that’s the way to go.
But even if you are fairly street smart, trouble may still find you. When that happens, turn to the Art of Eight Limbs.

MARTIAL ARTS & KIDS
Martial arts is for everyone. It can help each and every one of us in our personal development, helping us build traits like discipline, resilience, humility, and so on.
For these reasons, martial arts is perfect for kids. It cultivates in children a confidence unlike any other physical activity one can practice. Furthermore, your son or daughter is learning skills he or she can use for self-defense later in life, giving parental units a comforting sense of security.
If someone tries to bully your child, rest assured that they will regret it. Let’s then dive into two basic self-defense techniques to help keep your child safe.
SELF DEFENSE TECHNIQUES TO KEEP YOUR CHILD SAFE
PUSH & CHOKE
The push and the choke are two of the most common attacks you’ll see on the street, (the push being the most common). Look at any street fight video and you’ll notice that the first attack thrown is usually a push. It’s critical to practice counters to these basic attacks.
The push does not appear to be that threatening. It’s not like it’s going to knock you out, right? Not necessarily true. If you’re pushed and you trip, you could end up getting stomped or kicked in the head. If you’re on a sidewalk and get pushed into traffic… even worse.
Do not underestimate the push. In the below video, Jason Lee covers two anti-bullying defense techniques against the push and the choke.
