Tips On Overcoming Post Fight Depression
At one point or another almost every fight goes through a battle of post fight depression. It doesn’t even have to be due to a loss either, it can even be from a win (like my friend Paul Banasiak talks about here). Learning how to deal with and overcome this mental struggle can be the difference between continuing your career as a martial artist or giving up and trying something else.
My training partner Chris Mauceri and I discuss our thoughts and share some tips on how to deal with post fight depression in this weeks Muay Thai Monday:

In case you didn’t know, I will be releasing a new “Muay Thai Mondays Q&A Session” every week where I’ll be answering questions about techniques, fight strategy, mindset, nutrition and anything related to Muay Thai. If you’d like your question(s) answers AND if you want to win a free Nak Muay Nation t-shirt or tanktop, submit your question by:
- Filming yourself asking the question. If it’s technique oriented, try to show me what you mean.
- Upload it and email it to sean (at) nakmuaynation.com
- BOOM! That’s it!
I hope you enjoy this new weekly segment! Be sure to subscribe to my Youtube channel and let me know your thoughts, comments and any suggestions for future episodes in the comments below (or on the video itself).
