One of the easiest traps to get pulled into when doing Muay Thai, and when doing anything really, is creating excuses for yourself.
I get it. Muay Thaiā€™s tough. Even if youā€™re a professional fighter, itā€™s still tough to get up each and every day to train. There are times when even Paul and I get really beaten down by training. And if itā€™s tough for us, how could a beginner or a hobbyist expect to keep up?
Ā The reason why Paul and I are talking about this today is because we get lots of comments about people who want to start Muay Thai but are hesitant for whatever reasons.
Some people might say theyā€™re not in good enough shape, some people think theyā€™re too old to train Muay Thai, some say theyā€™re afraid of the environment, etc. The list goes on and on.
Paul and I both had and have excuses, too. Weā€™re not perfect. Which is why we know how to address these excuses, because weā€™ve made them too.
