Who Is The

"Muay Thai Guy"?

I AM!

I’m Sean Fagan, a professional fighter and instructor who lived, trained and fought in Thailand for years before retiring from competition.

I’m originally from a small town called New Paltz in upstate NY. I’ve trained in the sport for over 15 years now and have competed in 35 fights. I’ve won two amateur championships (one with a broken arm), fought on national Thai TV, competed on Lion Fight, and won a title at Madison Square Garden...

… it’s been quite a journey so far!

When I’m not training or fighting, I’m either running my website, hosting Muay Thai Vacations all over the world, or spending some downtime with my wife Liz, my son Theo and my Thai dogs Suay and Tilly.

I Have The Best Job In The World

I literally “live, eat, breathe” Muay Thai every single day. Take a look at what my career has been like in and out of the ring.

Muay Thai Is My Life

Although Muay Thai is a huge part of my life, I am well aware that I do not know everything there is to know about it... and I never will.

But isn’t that one of the beautiful things about Muay Thai?

It’s a never-ending journey of self-improvement and discovery where there is always something new to learn.

Muay Thai has given me purpose and has taught me more about myself than I would have never known otherwise. Since it’s helped me carve out this amazing life, my mission is to help you use Muay Thai as a tool to become the best version of yourself.

Yea, I know, it sounds corny and cliche, but it’s SO TRUE!

My Mission

My mission is to not only provide you with the tools, resources and inspiration to accomplish your Muay Thai dreams, but I also want to grow this beautiful sport so that it can change the lives of others just like it changed mine.

My Goal For Muay Thai Guy

In order to help you grow as a nak muay (otherwise known as a “Thai boxer”), I’ve created this website. On these pages is essentially a compilation of everything I’ve learned throughout my time in the sport.

Not only does this include my own personal experiences inside and outside the ring, but it also includes the knowledge and experiences of hundreds of other top fighters, coaches and practitioners who’ve I’ve been lucky enough to interview (or train with) at one point or another.

Whether this site helps encourage you to try your first Muay Thai class or plays a small role in you winning a championship title, my hope is that this site helps you along your Muay Thai journey in one way or another.

I want to personally thank you for stopping by my site and for being a part of this worldwide Muay Thai community!
