Ever wonder what’s going on inside a mind of a fighter?

The amount of thoughts that run through a fighters mind before, during and after a fight is just insane and can make the average person crumble with anxiety, doubt and fear. But that’s what makes fighters so incredibly unique — the ability to overcome the ups and downs of a fight career.

In this podcast episode, Paul and I decide to sit down and shoot the shit about Paul’s title fight that went down a few nights ago.

He lost a close split-decision in an epic 5-round fight that was full of back and forth exchanges with both fighters being rocked at multiple points in the fight. He shares his thoughts about the fight as well as some major insights on what goes on inside the mind of a fighter.

For this podcast we just started recording and talked about a number of experiences and philosophies we have on life, fighting and so much more. This podcast is as real as it gets, so give it a listen!

  1. Great podcast guys. Even the subject of losing can be inspiring. Cheers.
I’d recommend Kostya Tszyu’s book My Story if you haven’t already read it. He touches on how losing his belt initially crushed him but came back to win multiple belts and unify a division.
    Keep up the good work!

  2. hi guys I am a kickboxing and mma fighter as well and I’ve started a whole blog on that, on what goes on inside a fighters mind. In my blog I kind of try to educate other people about mma and kickboxing and martial arts in general.
