MTG 039: Breakfast Of Champions, Muay Thai Style With Phoenix Carnevale

My Turn To Be Interviewed By Martial Arts Diva, Phoenix Carnevale!

phoenix carnevale interview sean fagan

Phoenix interviewing me after my title defense back in February 2013.

I’ve been having some scheduling issues with interviewing fighters so I figured I’d share the interview that my friend, Phoenix Carnevale, did with me! It’s always a great time talking with Phoenix because not only can we have awesome conversations about muay thai and martial arts, but because we can have awesome conversations about nearly everything.

In this episode of her awesome show Everything Martial Arts, Phoenix invited me over to her New York City apartment to cook a healthy breakfast recipe from my nutrition guide and recipe book, Fuel The Fighter.

We discuss the importance of nutrition and how it’s been a major factor in my success as a fighter. We also talk about various aspects of weight cutting including how to avoid binge eating and having late night munchies that seem to be a major issue of recent UFC Ultimate Fighter contestants.
